И это хорошо, потому что безвременник, в отличие от крокуса, смертельно ядовит. Алкалоид колхицин нашёл применение в современной медицине, но народной самодеятельностью с этой травкой лучше не заниматься.</p><p>Ещё одно английское название — «голая леди» (<em>naked lady</em>).
