Эти пауки вьют горизонтальную ловчую сеть из беспорядочно переплетённых нитей; сеть поддерживается сверху и снизу вертикальными нитями. Паук сидит на нижней стороне лапами кверху и ждёт, пока добыча, пролетая над сооружением, заденет вертикальную нить и упадёт в сеть.</p><p>На фото — кульминация свидания. Ритуалы знакомства пройдены (определитель сообщает, что в этом семействе самец приближается к самке, раскачиваясь из стороны в сторону), самка раскрыла объятья, и самец проник под неё (или как тут сказать — над неё?), чтобы вложить свои педипальпы (расположены на голове спереди) в её эпигину. These spiders make a horizontal web with threads interwoven randomly. The web hangs on vertical threads on the upper and lower sides. The spider sits on the under-sider and waits: some insect, while flying above th construction, will bump into a vertical thread and fall into the net.</p><p>The photo catched the main point of the mating. All introduction rituals are done (my book reports that in this family the male sways from side to side while approaching to the female); the female opened her embrace and the male got under her (or above her?) to put his pedipalps (located on the front of his head) into her epigyne.
