Mar 07, 2011: This march was not too good for me. This time I went out for jogging on a “week-end” route and felt so miserable that I even didn`t want to jog (that`s a really, _really_ bad symptome). So, discouraged and depressed I was walking along the street without even looking what`s around me and suddenly I heard gentle chirping of waxwings. Near crossroads, amoung small shops and walking people, a flock of waxwings descended from heavens to the ground.

The waxwings are usually found in tree crowns — that`s where they find their food (all sorts of fruit, berries and seeds) in winter. Getting a good shot of a waxwing in a city is not an ordinary event. But meeting them on the ground, and getting 2-3 m close — I considered that impossible. I though that the Universe either sent me a consolation present or wanted to check if I`m completely hopeless or not.(Birds of March)
