Jan 22, 2011: This species of tegu lizards is native to tropical South America and grows up to 140 cm length. English-speaking internet sources usually report that the lizard has very hard, agressive character. On the contrary, Russian Wikipedia sais that it`s very timid. The Wiki also mentions that Colombian tegus often rob hen-coops for eggs and chickens, and at the same time taste like chicken meat themselves.
