	$<div class=ru><p>Дата фото: 07.06.2013</p><p>Вы когда-нибудь видели белых жеребят? Наверное, особо и не присматривались, что тут такого… </p><p>Белые жеребята — большая редкость. Даже те, которые потом превратятся в светло-серых, рождаются мышастой<sup>тёмно-серой</sup> масти и светлеют с возрастом (обычно, если даже шерсть лошади, обиходно выражаясь, белая, кожа при этом — тёмная).</p><p>Говорят, настоящих альбиносов (животных с полностью отсутствующим пигментом) среди лошадей не бывает вообще (выбраковываются на раннем этапе беременности), бывают только белорожденные (глаза голубые или карие), но и те редки и часто не блещут здоровьем, к тому же с такой мастью связано генетическое отклонение, которое приводит к гибели жеребят вскоре после рождения. Я впервые читала об этом в школе в журнале Коневодство и конный спорт, а в этом году увидела белого жеребёнка недалеко от дачи, ха.</p><p>Не, я понимаю, к 2014 году правильнее было бы увидеть синюю лошадь… Но я не пью, и мой фотик — тоже. :)</p><p><span class=ubcl>лошадь домашняя Equus ferus caballus</span></p></div><div class=en><p>Photo taken on Jun 07, 2013</p><p>Have you ever seen a white colt? Probably you never paid attention, why should you?</p><p>White colts are very rare. Even those which grow into light-grey horses, are born dark-grey; while their coat becomes more and more “white-like” when they grow older, their skin stays dark. </p><p>Unlike other animals there are no real albinos (unpigmented animals) among horses, they cannot be born. There are white-born horses (eyes blue or brown), but they are rare and in many cases this state is related to health problems, incl. “lethal white syndrome” — genetic disorder leading to colt's death soon after birth (see <a target=_blank href=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/White_horse>Wiki</a>).
