08.08.2011: Это фото можно посмотреть/загрузить в полном размере/качестве: 4272х2889 пикселей, 1,1 М. Как я уже упоминала, пауки — постоянные и приветствуемые обитатели нашего дачного дома. Однако в середине лета они практически исчезли и с улицы, и с чердака. Это событие подозрительно совпало по времени с поселением возле нашего дома воробья: от паучков наших остались лишь бесхозные паутинки, свидетельствующие о трагичной судьбе своих хозяев (паук, который намерен сплести новую паутину, старую утилизирует, чтобы добро не пропадало). Оставалось загадкой, куда исчез паучок, заселённый в закрытый инсектарий, но и ей потом нашлось грустное объяснение с фотками. Мы попечалились, но что делать, селяви — все мням-мням в этой Вселенной. К нашей великой радости, после того, как воробей отчаялся начирикать себе самку и отчалил, пауки появились снова. Этот Паучок поселился у меня за монитором, в углу крыши. Очень удачное место. Во-первых, мне несложно не задевать паутину — разрушение паутины обычно поощряет паука искать новое место для неё. Во-вторых, здесь даже днём полумрак, поэтому Паучок не считает нужным днём прятаться в укрытии, как это обычно делают все пауки по достижении среднего размера. Поэтому с Паучком можно общаться — подкармливать, фотографировать — почти в любое время суток. Пищу Паучок вполне успешно ловит сам: мух у нас в этом году какое-то жуткое количество. Но если уж мне выпадает возможность поймать и принести ему ещё одну живую муху — я такую возможность не упускаю. Ведь чем регулярнее питается паук, тем больше вероятность, что он будет продолжать жить на том же месте, а не пойдёт искать более «хлебные» угодья. Паучок такие случаи тоже не упускает: с удовольствием берёт добычу у меня практически из рук :). А вот в дождливый день и Андрей до него добрался, приняв форму сложносоставной буквы зю, и устроил фотосессию. Паучок проявил большое терпение к вспышке — дёргался иногда, но не уходил. Портретище вышел отменный. На крупном фото хорошо видно, что крестовики не только расписные, но и целиком короткошёрстно-бархатистые няшки. Для справки: с последней линьки у Паучка продольный размах лапок (от кончиков передних до кончиков задних) в спокойной позе — ~4 см. As I`ve already mentioned, spiders are regular and welcomed dwellers of our garden house. Unfortunately, this mid-summer they all disappeared both from the garden and from the loft. This event happened at suspiciously the same time when a sparrow choosed to live near our house: only empty cobwebs left as sad witnesses of the tragic fate of their owners (the spider who is going to make another web, always starts with careful utilization of the previous one). There was a riddle of how disappeared the spider whom I put in the closed insectary, but later it got a sad explanation with photos, too. Of course, we were not happy about that, but c`est la vie — everybody`s eating in this Universe. And we were very happy to find new spiders in our house after the sparrow left his unsuccessful attempts to date with a female and went away. This Spider-friend lives behind my display in a corner of the roof. It`s a very good place. First, it`s easy for me not to break his web — broken web usually stimulates the spider to look for a new place. Second, it`s never sunny in this corner, only half-light. This makes the spider think that there is no need to hide during the day, as it is usual for all spiders when they become mid-sized or larger. That means that we can communicate with Spider-friend — feed and make photos — at almost any time of day or night. Usually Spider-friend is quite successful at getting food for himself: we`ve got incredible hords of flies this year. But, if I get a chance to catch a fly alive for him, I never miss it. The better is feeding of a spider — the greater is the chance that he won`t go look for another place to feed. Spider-friend, too, never misses a chance to take another fly right from my hands :). And then we had a very rainy day, and that inspired Andrei to invent some complicated configuration of cameras and his own body and to make a good series of shots of the spider. Spider-friend showed great patience towards the flash: sometimes he shuddered but didn`t leave his post. So, here is a nice big portrait. On the full-size photo you can see that he is not only nicely ornamented but also velvety-furry cuty. For info: after the last change of coat Spider-friend`s length (from the tips of the fore-legs to the tips of the hind legs) in a calm posture is about 4 cm.
