Jan 22, 2011: The catfish stood up on it`s tail (I took photos leaning over the basin`s brim). Why was he standing — I don`t know, maybe that was more convenient way to look at the visitors? It is told everywhere that this catfish is often held in home aquariums in spite of the ability to grow up to 1.5 m, 50 kg and 20 years old. Russian wiki also tells (with reference to one book) that this catfish can cry like an elephant, but I couldn`t find any other confirmations of this fact.
